Restaurant Panino opened in 2000. For the first six years it was situated at Kaptol center shopping mall. In 2006 Panino moved to a new location on beautiful Tkalčićeva Street, only few minutes walk from the main square. The concept somewhat changed with the move, becoming a fine dining restaurant rather than offering wide varieties of sandwiches and croissants as before. Guests can still enjoy coffee or dessert however, without having to take the whole meal.

The menu is short, listing only the freshest seasonal ingredients. The majority of the dishes are Mediterranean, but there are some fusion choices as well. All of the pasta, breads, and desserts are home made. Valrhona chocolate is used extensively in the desserts.

Another thing to emphasize is the wine list. A wide selection of Croatian whites and reds are available, as well as imported labels. Wine is served by glass.
